Multi-use Mini-Monocular

The Multi-Use Mini-Monocular (MUM-14B) is a high performance modular passive night vision device that utilizes a single Generation II/III intensifier tube to provide crisp, clear images under the darkest conditions. The MUM-14B single tube/single eyepiece approach to night vision missions is based upon the proven concept that independent use of each eye maximizes the ability of the user to operate under a wide range of low light conditions and maintain full situational awareness. The unit incorporates manual variable gain control for maximum scene optimization in all environments and a flip-up shut off option to insure personal covert security in the stowed position.

Small and versatile, the MUM-14B provides a high performance 2nd or 3rd generation system in the smallest, toughest package available. The MUM-14B has the ability to be weapon mounted, head/helmet mounted, hand-held or optionally attached to 3X/4X/5X afocal objective magnifiers. Also available is the dual-system head/helmet mount that allows two monoculars to operate as one binocular system.
