Universal Thermal Acquisition Monocular

The Universal Thermal Acquisition Monocular (UTAM) from Nivisys Industries represents the latest advancement in our series of handheld thermal imagers.  It provides an extremely rugged, compact, lightweight thermal imager that can be  handheld, weapon mounted, head or helmet mounted; giving the operator enhanced surveillance and targeting capability during night and adverse weather conditions.

The UTAM-32 can easily fit in a shirt or cargo pocket, and is easy to operate with its simple and intuitive controls.  The 320 x 240 uncooled VOx thermal detector draws very low power from two CR123 batteries, providing the operator with over 6 hours of continuous battery life.  User selected reticles and azimuth and elevation adjustments make targeting simple and fast for quick response.  A hot-shoe is incorporated for the use of various accessories such as a remote control, laser pointers, range-finders, recording devices, downloading captured images and external battery packs. This further increases the capability of the imager as well as the effectiveness of the user.
